Some VidCon Thoughts…
So, when I went to PlayList Live more than a year ago now, I made these tiny business cards.
They were about two inches by one inch and they were made on yellow card stock (leftover materials from my Spanish note cards from high school) and I wrote my username on them with some lame little pictures.
I gave them out to almost everyone. I was extremely proud of, and also embarrassed about, these little note cards. But I handed them out to basically everyone.
I remember Toby Turner sticking one in his wallet and I remember giving on to Craig (WheezyWaiter for those of you who don’t know what YouTube is. Seriously, how could you not know who Craig is?) and I remember giving one to TheWillofDC and… well, basically everyone.
I’m seriously wondering who still has them. It’s been more than a year, so I’m sure it’s completely silly, but… what if it’s still in their wallets? And what if they remember me?
I just can’t wait to go. And this time I have printed business cards with blank backs.
At first I was upset about the blank backs, but then I realized that I can write a note to each person before giving it to them.
Which is a beautiful idea.
